PS5 shipments top 32.1 million
It would appear that Sony’s Playstation 5 has had quite a successful run thus far! According to several sources, the PS5 has managed to ship a whopping 32.1 million units as of December 2020- which is an impressive feat, to say the least.
What’s even more impressive is that this latest quarter saw the PS5 sales increase by a whopping 72%! This is undoubtedly due to the fact that several highly anticipated games were released during this time period- such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
It’s safe to say that the PS5 is well on its way to becoming one of the most successful gaming consoles of all time. And with even more big releases planned for 2021, it’s likely that Sony will only continue to see more success in the coming year.
