Another unopened OG iPhone is going up for auction; here’s how much it’s expected to sell for
Yet another unopened Original iPhone is going up for auction, with a starting bid at $US5000. This would be the first time an unopened iPhone has been available at auction and is expected to reach a high bid. How high? Some are estimating it could be as much as $US50,000.
This iPhone was originally released in 2007 and is still in its original packaging. It is believed to be one of only a handful of unopened iPhones in existence and is a real rarity in the tech world. The phone comes with a 1.8 GHz processor, 128 GB of storage and runs on iOS 11.
The auction house is expecting a lot of interest in this item, from both collectors and those who just want to own a piece of history. The phone will be on display at the auction house in New York City from February 15th-17th before going up for sale on the 18th.
