Google hosting Search and AI event next week

Google is getting ready to take on ChatGPT, announced an event for February 8th focused on search and artificial intelligence (AI). This move comes as a response to the release of ChatGPT by OpenAI, a research company that was backed by tech giants like Google.
Google has been tight-lipped about what we can expect from the event. What we do know is that it’ll be focused on search and maps, two key areas where Google has been making big investments in AI.
We can expect that Google will use this event to show off its own ChatGPT skills. The company has been working on advances in natural language processing (NLP) for years and it’s likely that its research in this area will be on display.
We may also see some new features for Google Search and Maps that make use of AI. Google has been working on making its products more predictive and personalised, so we could see some of these features debut at the event.
Whatever Google has in store, we’re sure to get a glimpse of the company’s plans for AI in the coming year. With ChatGPT on the horizon, it’s clear that Google is taking this challenge seriously and is looking to stay ahead of the curve.
