There is no doubting that the iPhone 14 Plus is not the most popular model in the iPhone lineup, with sales lagging behind even the iPhone 12 mini. According to new reports, this is leading to an all-time low for component orders for the 14 Plus, with suppliers near zero expected shipments for the device. Even though the iPhone 15 Plus is still rumored to be in the works, it seems that demand for the larger Plus model has waned significantly.

One of the main reasons for the lack of interest in the iPhone 14 Plus is likely due to the fact that it is not a major upgrade from the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It features the same design, camera system, and overall form factor as its predecessor. The only notable changes are the addition of a new processor and slightly upgraded display. For many users, these upgrades simply are not worth the extra cost of upgrading.

Interestingly, the iPhone 13 is rumored to be a much more significant upgrade, with an all-new design, larger display, and improved camera system. This is likely to be the model that Apple refreshing the Plus lineup with next year. In the meantime, it seems that the iPhone 14 Plus will continue to languish on store shelves.
