The recent announcement that Nintendo will be adding Game Boy games to its Switch Online service has been greeted with much fanfare. The ability to play classic titles such as Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the go is a dream come true for many Nintendo fans.

However, there is a big problem with this new service: it is only available in North America and Japan. This means that fans in other regions, such as Europe and Australia, will be left out in the cold.

This is a huge disappointment, and it is made even worse by the fact that Nintendo has no plans to bring the service to these regions in the future. This is a huge mistake, and it is one that will no doubt anger many fans.

It is time for Nintendo to rethink its strategy. The company needs to globalize its Switch Online service, and it needs to do so now. Otherwise, it risks losing even more fans.
