Microsoft will support Windows 11 on newer Macs through Parallels

Since the release of Apple’s M1 and M2 chips, Microsoft has been tight-lipped about their support for virtualization of Windows on these new Macs. However, the company has now officially announced full support for Windows 11 on M1 and M2 Macs through Parallels Desktop 18.
This is big news for Apple users who want the best of both worlds, as they will now be able to run Windows apps and programs on their Macs without any issues. Microsoft has long been supportive of virtualization on its own devices, so it’s good to see that they are extending this support to Macs as well.
The only downside is that Microsoft’s support is only available for the Parallels Desktop 18 app, which means that users will have to pay for it. However, considering the benefits that it offers, the price is definitely worth it.
So, if you’re an Apple user who has been longing for the ability to run Windows apps on your Mac, then this is great news for you. Just head on over to the Parallels website and download the app to get started.
