GM Invents Self
Lately, there’s been a lot of talk about GM’s new self-cleaning touchscreen displays. These nifty screens are topped with a special coating that makes fingerprints disappear.
As a longtime tech blogger, I’ve seen a lot of new technologies come and go. But I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with GM’s self-cleaning touchscreen technology.
Not only does it make fingerprints disappear, but it also repels water and other contaminants. That means your screen will stay clean and smudge-free for longer.
Of course, the real test will be how well these screens stand up to everyday use. But if GM’s self-cleaning touchscreen technology is anything like they say it is, then it could spell the end of fingerprint smudges for good.
