Google Pixel Fold Could Crush Samsung’s Battery Life

Google’s recently announced Pixel phone is set to fold in half, making it more compact and portable. However, a new report suggests that the battery life on the device may not be as impressive as Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
The report comes from 9to5Google, which cites “a source familiar with the matter”. According to the site, the Pixel Fold will have a smaller capacity battery than the Galaxy Fold, meaning it won’t be able to last as long on a single charge.
The report also claims that the Pixel Fold will be “heavier” than the Galaxy Fold 4, but will have a larger battery. It’s not clear how much heavier the Pixel Fold will be, but the report says that the phone will be “ noticeably thicker and taller” when compared to the Galaxy Fold.
While the battery life on the Pixel Fold may not be as good as the Galaxy Fold, the phone is still expected to be a powerful device. The report claims that the phone will have a Snapdragon 865 processor, which is the most powerful processor available on Android phones.
The Pixel Fold is also expected to have a higher-resolution display than the Galaxy Fold. The report says that the phone will have a 7.6-inch “main” display with a resolution of 2480 x 1800. The Galaxy Fold, on the other hand, has a 7.3-inch “main” display with a resolution of 2152 x 1536.
The Pixel Fold is expected to be released in the second half of 2020.
