PS VR2: Sony’s next attempt to make virtual reality gaming mainstream

PlayStation has finally released their long-awaited PSVR 2, and it was well worth the wait. The new headset is a marked improvement over the original, with a significantly higher resolution and field of view. The tracking is also greatly improved, making for a much more immersive experience.

The games lineup is currently a bit lacking, however there are a few standouts. RE7: Biohazard is a particular highlight, with its brilliant use of VR to create a truly horrifying atmosphere. Overall, PSVR 2 is a strong foundation for what could be a very promising future for virtual reality gaming.
