OnePlus’ first foldable will compete with Galaxy Z Fold 5 later this year

For the last few years, the smartphone industry has been abuzz with rumors of foldable phones. Finally, it seems as though we are on the cusp of seeing these devices come to market. Earlier this year, Samsung and Huawei both released foldable phones, and now it looks like OnePlus will be doing the same.
OnePlus has confirmed that it is working on a foldable phone, and that it will be released later this year. This device is likely to be very similar to the OPPO Find X2, which was unveiled earlier this year. The Find X2 features a 6.7-inch OLED display that folds in half, much like the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
OnePlus has also said that its foldable phone will be “competitively priced.” This is likely a reference to the high price tags of the Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X. The Galaxy Fold costs a whopping $1,980, while the Mate X is even more expensive at $2,600.
So far, we don’t know much else about the OnePlus foldable phone. However, it is rumored to be called the OnePlus 10 Pro. We’ll hopefully have more information about this device in the coming months.
