Fitbit app keeps crashing? Here’s what we know so far.

Sardonic wit not included.
If you’ve been using a Fitbit for a while, you’re probably used to the occasional app crash. But lately, it seems like the app has been crashing more often than usual.
What’s going on?
At this point, we don’t know for sure. Fitbit has been quiet on the issue, and there’s no word yet on whether there’s a fix in the works.
In the meantime, we’ve compiled a list of potential workarounds that might help you get by until the issue is resolved.
First, try restarting the app. This often works like a charm when apps start acting up.
If that doesn’t work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. This will usually fix any issues that may have arisen during the update process.
If you’re still having trouble, you can try clearing the app’s cache. This can be done by going to the Settings menu and selecting “Apps.” From there, select the Fitbit app and tap “Clear Cache.”
If none of these solutions work, you may need to wait for a new update to come out. In the meantime, you can try using the Fitbit website or the mobile web version of the app.
We’ll continue to update this post as we learn more.
