Galaxy S23 Buyers, Thoughts so Far?

It’s been a little over a week since the Galaxy S23 was released, and we’ve had a chance to really put it through its paces. Here’s what we think so far.
The Good
The design is absolutely stunning. The metal chassis and glass back make for a beautiful phone, and it feels great in the hand. The bezels are incredibly slim, and the overall form factor is just about perfect.
The screen is absolutely gorgeous. It’s bright, colorful, and extremely sharp. We had no problems whatsoever with visibility, even in direct sunlight.
The camera is excellent. The main sensor takes great photos in just about any lighting conditions, and the ultrawide angle lens is a lot of fun to use. The S23 also has some pretty nifty features like 8K video recording and “Super Steady” stabilization.
The Bad
The battery life could be better. We were able to get through a full day of use on a single charge, but your mileage may vary.
The in-display fingerprint sensor is a bit finicky. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be frustrating at times.
The Bottom Line
The Galaxy S23 is an excellent phone, and it’s definitely one of the best Android phones on the market. If you’re in the market for a new phone, the S23 should definitely be on your radar.
