Desperate NYC addict leaves items for possible meth cooking attempt all over subway
It seems that another desperate attempt to cook meth was made on the NYC subway recently. This time, the would-be meth-cook left behind a plethora of items that suggest a hasty getaway.
Included in the abandoned items were: a camp stove, a dozen eggs, a pressure cooker, a bottle of Captain Morgan rum, a bottle of Crown Royal whiskey, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, and a gallon of water.
Fortunately, this desperate attempt was foiled and the would-be meth-cook was apprehended before any real damage could be done. But it does beg the question: what would possess someone to try and cook meth on the subway?
There are a few possible explanations. Firstly, the individual may have been desperate to get their fix and didn’t have the time or resources to cook meth in a more traditional setting.
Secondly, they may have been trying to take advantage of the fact that the subway is a highly trafficked area and that they would be able to sell the meth to other addicts.
Thirdly, they may have been trying to send a message to the authorities that they are willing to go to great lengths to get their hands on meth.
Whatever the case may be, it is clear that this was a desperate attempt that fortunately did not result in any serious harm.
