iOS 16.4 hints at Car Key feature dropping NFC support

Apple recently released the third beta for iOS 16.4, and among the new features is the ability to sign in with a different Apple ID to download beta software. This could be useful for testers who have multiple Apple IDs, or for those who want to use a separate Apple ID for their beta software testing.

In addition to the new sign-in feature, iOS 16.4 beta 3 also hints at the Car Key feature dropping NFC support. 9to5Mac was able to find evidence of this in the code, and it’s possible that Apple may have decided to ditch NFC support due to privacy concerns.
