Apple’s rumored HomePod with a 7
Apple is set to release a brand new HomePod in 2024, and this updated model will come complete with a 7-inch display. This is according to well-respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a strong track record when it comes to predicting Apple’s plans.
The current HomePod is a great device, but it is limited by its lack of a display. This means that users are unable to see information such as the time, weather, or song lyrics. With a display, the HomePod will be much more versatile and user-friendly.
The addition of a display will also allow Apple to add new features to the HomePod. For example, the company could add support for third-party apps. This would be a huge selling point for the HomePod, as it would make it much more capable than rivals such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home.
The 7-inch display is said to be “just right” for the HomePod, according to Kuo. It will be big enough to add new features and information, but not so large that it will be obtrusive.
Apple is reportedly planning to launch the new HomePod in the first half of 2024. This is likely to be a big year for the company, as it is also rumored to be working on a new augmented reality headset and an electric car.
