Ever since the release of the PlayStation 4 Pro, rumours have been abound of a more powerful version of Sony’s current-gen console. Now, it seems as though those rumours may have some weight to them, as a new report suggests that the PS5 Pro is indeed in development, and even has a release window.

According to sources close to Gamingbolt, the PS5 Pro is targeting a potential 2024 release, and will offer significant improvements over the base model PS5. The report states that the Pro model will feature a higher-end GPU, as well as support for 4K 120Hz output.

This is all very exciting news for PlayStation fans, as it suggests that Sony is planning to support the PS5 for a long time to come. With the release of the PS5 Pro, gamers will have even more choice when it comes to which console to buy, and that can only be a good thing.

Of course, all of this is just rumours for now, so take it with a grain of salt. However, if even half of this report turns out to be true, then the PS5 Pro is shaping up to be a very exciting piece of hardware.
