Player buys every single Wii U and 3DS eshop game ahead of store closure | VGC

As the age of digital gaming comes to a close, one player has taken it upon themselves to buy every single Wii U and 3DS game available on the eShop before it shuts down.
This lucky individual, who goes by the name of “ImABird” on Twitter, has spent an impressive $22,784.97 on games. That’s every single game currently available on the eShop for both the Wii U and 3DS, including all of the DLC.
While this may seem like a lot of money to spend on games, it’s important to remember that the eShop is closing down soon. It’s not clear when exactly the eShop will close its doors, but Nintendo has said that it will be “sometime in the latter half of 2021.”
With the eShop closing down, this means that ImABird will be the only person with access to these games. That’s a pretty big deal, and it’s likely that ImABird will be able to sell these games for a profit in the future.
Of course, it’s also possible that ImABird simply wanted to have every single Wii U and 3DS game for themselves. Either way, they’ve now got a pretty impressive collection.
