PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS 2023 Roadmap
It’s been just over three years since PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS released on Early Access and took the world by storm. Since then, the game has seen a massive surge in popularity and has become one of the most played games on Steam.
Now, with the game’s third anniversary just around the corner, developers have released a roadmap for the game’s future. Here’s everything you need to know about PUBG’s 2023 roadmap.
The first thing to note is that, contrary to popular belief, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is not dead. In fact, the game is still going strong and has a very active player base.
This is evident from the fact that, despite being released three years ago, the game is still receiving regular updates and new content. In fact, just last month, the game received a massive update that added a new map, weapons, and vehicles.
So, what does the future hold for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS?
Well, according to the roadmap, the next two years are going to be pretty exciting for the game.
In 2022, the game is set to receive a majorupdate that will add a new map, as well as a new game mode. The map is set to be set in the deserts of Africa and will be exclusive to the new game mode.
This new game mode is said to be a ‘Battle Royale’ mode which, judging by the name, is likely to be similar to the mode that is found in the game Fortnite.
As well as this, 2022 is also set to be the year that PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS goes free-to-play. This is something that has been rumoured for a while and, considering the success of Fortnite, it makes perfect sense.
Finally, 2023 is set to be a big year for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS as it is the year that the game is set to leave Early Access and release as a full game.
This is an exciting time for the game and, judging by the roadmap, it looks like PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is going to be around for a long time to come.
