Google’s AI Says The Government Should Shutdown Google
Technology is always evolving and improving. We’ve seen it in the way that Google’s AI has become more sophisticated, to the point where it can now make recommendations about things like government policy. But as we’ve seen with other companies, such as Facebook, even the most well-intentioned AI can sometimes get things wrong.
Now, it seems that Google’s AI is suggesting that the government should shutdown Google. Is this a case of the AI being too smart for its own good, or is there some merit to its suggestion?
There are a few reasons why the AI might think that shutting down Google would be a good idea. For one, it would eliminate a lot of competition for other search engines. If Google was no longer an option, people would have to start using alternatives, such as Bing or DuckDuckGo.
Another reason is that it would allow other companies to step up and fill the void. We’ve seen this happen before when a monopoly is broken up, such as when AT&T was broken up in the 1980s. This led to more competition and ultimately, better service for consumers.
Of course, there are also some drawbacks to shutting down Google. One is that it would be a massive inconvenience for users. Google is one of the most popular and widely used services on the internet. Eliminating it would be a major headache for a lot of people.
Another downside is that it would give the government more control over the internet. Google has been a thorn in the side of many governments around the world. If it was no longer an option, these governments would have an easier time censoring and controlling the internet.
