Daily Deals: Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Console up for Preorder, 2TB PS5 SSD for $112.50, AirPods Pro for $195

The long-awaited sequel to one of the most revered video games of all time is finally upon us. Nintendo has released the first gameplay footage of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and it looks incredible.
The game is set in the Kingdom of Hyrule, which has been ravaged by a great war. Link, the game’s protagonist, must journey across the land to find the lost princess Zelda and save the kingdom.
The gameplay footage Nintendo has released looks absolutely gorgeous. The graphics are incredibly detailed and the world looks massive. The game appears to be very open-ended, with numerous side-quests and activities to engage in.
However, there is one aspect of the game that has me worried. In the gameplay footage, Link is shown using a bow and arrow to kill enemies. In the original Zelda game, Link could only kill enemies by using his sword.
The addition of bow and arrow combat could drastically change the feel of the game. It could make the game more action-oriented and less focused on exploration. This would be a shame, as the original Zelda game was lauded for its large, open world and emphasis on puzzle-solving.
I hope that Nintendo has managed to strike the right balance with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The gameplay footage looks incredible, but I remain cautiously optimistic about the game. Only time will tell if it lives up to the hype.
