E3 Gaming Expo Cancels 2023 Event

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, has been a staple in the gaming community for over two decades. The annual event is where the biggest names in gaming reveal their latest and greatest projects to the world. But it looks like E3 won’t be happening in 2023.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the organization behind E3, has announced that the event has been canceled for next year. In a statement, the ESA said that “after careful consultation with our member companies and other key stakeholders, we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2021, scheduled for June 15-17, 2021.”

This is a huge blow to the gaming community, as E3 is one of the most anticipated events of the year. But it’s not all bad news. The ESA says that it is “exploring options” for a “digital event” in lieu of the physical expo.

So while we may not be able to physically attend E3 next year, it sounds like we’ll still be able to get our gaming fix. And who knows, maybe a digital event will even be better than the physical one. We’ll just have to wait and see.
