The latest release of iOS 16.4 includes some much-anticipated new emoji, as well as some other handy updates. Here’s what you need to know.

Apple has once again expanded the emoji repertoire available to users of its mobile operating system with the release of iOS 16.4. The update, which was released on Monday, adds 31 new emoji to the already extensive list.

The new emoji include a few long-awaited additions such as a face with hearts for eyes, a yawning face, and a flamingo. There are also a few new professions represented, including a mechanic, a judge, and a chef.

In addition to the new emoji, the update also brings with it some other handy updates. Perhaps most notably, it introduces support for Apple’s new AirTag accessory.

AirTag is a small, battery-powered device that can be attached to objects like keychains and purses, allowing users to keep track of their whereabouts using the “Find My” app.

The update also includes support for Apple’s new app “Podcasts,” which offers users a convenient way to discover and listen to podcasts on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Finally, the update includes a fix for a regression that could cause duplicated notifications to be delivered to users.
